Thanks for signing up for Tim’s True Colors Workshop! Here are a few things you definitely need to know, such as driving directions, supplies, and where to find a good burrito!

Driving directions: We’ll be meeting behind Tim’s studio. Though Tim’s home and studio are on Main Street in Berryville, Virginia, his driveway is around the corner off of Rice Street. Aim your GPS at 6 Rice Street, Berryville, VA 22611 (Google Maps). You’ll see the sign for the studio.

Parking: Please do not park in Tim’s driveway, as it is shared with neighbors. There is ample parking on Rice Street. You can also park in the commuter lot located at the southwest corner of Rice and Academy Streets (just north of Tim’s driveway).

Supplies: Click here to view a printable supply list and/or a prepared shopping cart. My list consists of oil colors, but please feel free to use your preferred medium, and whatever brand paint you have or like.  We will do three paintings- one each morning. Bring five canvas or hardboard panels, approximately 11×14″, ready for painting. Details on the supply list. If you don’t have an easel, we do have a few available.

Time: In consideration of everyone’s schedule, we start and end on time. It’s a good idea to arrive about 10-15 minutes early to set up your easel, paints.

Etc.: Bring water, bug repellent, and a hat with a visor. Wear neutral clothing (having your neon orange sheet radiating onto your canvas is, uh, not a good thing!). Be sure to bring your notebook to jot down new insights.
