Want to learn how to make your drawings look real and have dimension?

Pro artist Tim Chambers will teach kids ages 9-18 tips from the Masters to improve their drawing skills at the April 2nd all-day ArtShop in Purcellville, VA. Every month kids have risen to the challenge and discovered practical methods and principles that improve their work and the fun they have creating. In this ArtShop, we’ll be covering:

• shading techniques in ink and pencil
• learning traditional lettering techniques
• learn to identify and convey different textures in their drawings
• planning your drawings with thumbnail sketches
• using skills you already own for better proportions and accuracy in your drawings
• interpreting color into values
• interpreting a Master painting into an ink and pencil drawing
• historical and contemporary art appreciation
  
• tips to continue practicing at home until the next ArtShop!
